Dumb people
So, my neighbors bought a bunny. They didn't bother to talk to me first about what it takes to raise a rabbit. They bought a tiny baby. Who was far young to be away from it's mom. I spent an hour with them, talking about what they needed to feed it, and such. I thought they were listening. She was with them for the past month. I saw her today. Outside, in a BIRD CAGE. She had no food, no water, nothing. EMPTY Cage. And it 100 degrees outside. She's underweight, and urine stained. Clearly, in bad bad shape. I grabbed her up and brought her into my home. I kissed her, and gave her food, and water and hay, which she gobbled up. I then set her cage up with a dry ground, some hay, some pellets, a water bowl, and a frozen water bottle. I put her in the shade, where there was a breeze. But I was scared to just steal her. They would totally know it was me, and I don't need to piss off my neighbors. Finally, I wrote them a nice, gentle letter, letting them know that I was worried about health, and why I had put these things in the cage. And asked them to please knock on my door if they needed anything.
Well, 45 mins after they got home, they came a knockin' bunny in tow. Guess what. I now have WAY Too Many Bunnies. She's a little girl, maybe 2 months old. She needs some tender loving care right now, but she still loves to be held and petted. Not scared of people at all. I let her out of the bird cage, and she was leaping and dancing all over the couch. Baby Binkys everywhere. I named her Willow. Here are some pics of her.

Feel free to email at cricket@mybunny.org if you are in the LA area, and can give her a good home!
