As life moves on

Victor and I seem to be holding it together. I only cry 2-3 times a day now instead of 2-3 times an hour... Victor is eating well, and last night he started venturing out of the cage again. He escaped out the back to play by my dressers and attempted to get under the bed (his favorite, forbidden spot) What I love is he had to escape out the back, when the front has been open since Sat night.... Today I found him hanging out in the Cotontail Cottage out in the living room. He seems to be taking up Cookie's leadership role, as he is now taking daily patrols through the bunny room to make sure everyone is doing what they should be.

FYI Willow is not, I repeat, not doing what she should be. She found a blanket I left near her cage, and promptly pulled the whole thing into the cage, and sits on it when I try and take it back. I gave up. THEN, she discovered that if she jumps REALLY high, she can land on the x-pen and scramble the last few inches over. I saw her do it, and heard her 2 other times.... It looks incredibly dangerous, as her front half is hanging over the cage and what if her back feet get caught on the way over?? So, today, I swap Mom and Dad's x-pen with hers. Mom and Dad are now approching 8 years of age, and just aren't as spunky as when I first had them, so I think shaving the foot off of their cage and adding it to Willows will work out just fine... ug. Bunnies.

I suspect Victor and Willow will get along stunningly as soon as we both stop crying so much...
