Cuddling

I made Cookie cuddle with me this morning. She is really good at cuddling... as long as you keep petting her. I made the mistake of dosing off. Cookie can sense as soon as you slip into sleep. At which point she bites what ever is closest. Fortunately, in her old age, my reaction time while sound asleep is still better than hers. She got my shirt, but not me...

I make Willow cuddle with me in the evening. She makes me forget about man trouble. She is learning to groom me. Right now, she kinda nips. I tend to scream when she does, and she gets these HUGE eyes and darts away and looks really really worried. Then I feel bad for squealing. Hopefully she will learn quickly that nipping is not a good thing.

Joe was forced into cuddling this morning. He escaped from his cage this morning... I hate it when he does that. I woke up to the sounds of Victor attacking him. (Victor being 3lbs, and Joe being 8lbs) Victor always loses. Fortunately, when I started yelling, they went their seperate ways, and Joe and I had a chat on the couch. Cages are needed to keep peace. And he needs to stay in his, unless I let him out!!!

Ganging up

So, I let Joe and Frank out to play in the living room tonight. This, in turn, infuriates Pogo. Pogo wants out to play. He begins to chew frantically on his x-pen. Little 2 lb bunny is throwing that x-pen around. Man is he pissed. So, I go over to calm him down. Marilyn sees an opportunity for kisses and maybe even a treat. So I give her a raisin. I then offer Pogo one, fair is fair. He lunges, snarls and bats the raisin out of my hands. Okay, I go to pick it up, Pogo smacks me again. Fine, little snot. I show Marilyn where the raisin fell. She eats it. Pogo gets pissed. He bats at her. She blinks her stunning eyes and wanders away.

So Pogo goes back to throwing the x-pen around. I go over once again to tell him to cut it out. He bats at me, hits me with his paws, and immediatly, Marilyn lunges at him, smacks his ass, and dives for cover. Poor Pogo, attacked on both sides. He spins around to get Marilyn but she's already across the cage, munching on hay. So, I grab Pogo's butt. I mean, it was just hanging there, waiting to be grabbed!

Needless to say, Pogo's not talking to either of us. I think I heard him muttering something about "women, can't live with 'im!"

Joe and Frank are still out dancing. Pogo's sulking and Marilyn and I are grinning.

Surviving

Momma bunny is hanging in there, she has had several mini surgeries, and things are looking up. We go in for another major surgery on Thurs and I am nervous for her.

Willow, well, she's still bad. She ate my firewire cable for my ipod, and damn near got my usb for my printer.... it's nicked, but still usable. I am thinking about eating her.... ok, not eating, but well, she's not allowed on the couch any more... I think I have said that before, but this time it's for real.

Marilyn and Pogo and Harper (my fosters) were jealous cause their photos aren't posted here, so I am adding them now...
This is Marilyn,

She's bonded to Pogo:

He likes to kiss.

Harper, well, she hates me, and all other bunnies. She spends a lot of time pretending she doesn't know me. But I like her, and feed her anyway!!

This is a shot of her as a baby. She's bigger now, and well, cute in a different way. I don't seem to have an adult photo of her, will have to fix that....
